How happy are you with your company’s HR?

Take a step back and ask yourself, how happy are you with your company’s HR?

When thinking about your company’s HR, can you put your hand on your heart say-

‘I am 100% confident that we are doing everything right in terms of HR; we have all the procedures in place for new starters, managing sick leave, disciplinaries, and all other HR functions. I know our systems and processes would stand up in court and we are 100% protected against employment law claims’?

If not, then you and your business need our help and don’t worry, it won’t cost you as much as you think it will.

Running a business is hard enough, but being ultimately responsible for a million and one tasks that need to be done each day/week/month as well as HR (which can often seem like a mammoth task alone) is hard. But, your employees are you most valuable asset, so making sure that you are managing them correctly is just as important as keeping track of your accounts.

Employment law is constantly changing and you need to stay on top of these changes otherwise, you may get caught out, which can prove to be costly in more ways than one.

For example, are you aware that the following changes have happened recently?
Exclusivity clauses are now banned from zero-hours contracts.
Statutory sick pay (SPP) increased from £87.55 to £88.45.
Potential £20,000 penalty for underpaying the national minimum wage, per worker.

These are just a few of the changes that have happened recently, many more have happened and many more are due to happen.

We want to help you make sure you are up to date. Unfortunately, we can’t do your accounts, but we can help you manage your people.

We look forward to hearing from you,

Your HR Lawyer
