My current clients already know that I am fiercely loyal to them and will do whatever I can to take away their HR stress as quickly as possible if I can. It’s not just words, I mean it.
I know what it’s like to run a business and employ people. I know what it’s like to work harder than everyone in your team and feel let down when you don’t think your staff are playing fair in the employment relationship. I am emotionally-led. I recognise that it’s a flaw and a strength.
I suspect that many people reading this can identify with what I’m saying and probably think that they are hiding their frustrations from their team. I bet that they are not doing it very well! We are human!
My advice is to get your frustration off your chest with HR or your employment law support provider and find out what you can do about it, if anything.
I’ve previously written about how you shouldn’t ignore HR issues because they will cause greater stress and ill-will from your employees but let’s recognise you in this relationship and limit your stress levels – before you explode and end up saying something that you perhaps shouldn’t.
